Join David Rogers  on a 6-night safari to Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park.

This is one of the great game parks of Southern African and is particularly regarded for its wonderful riverine scenery, high leopard concentrations and excellent guiding. This photographic expedition coincides with the start of the dry season and we expect clear skies, water levels to be dropping and  predator activity to be good. We will be using two outstanding privately owned camps that bring the very best of the safari tradition for which Zambia is so famous. Robin Pope Safaris has excellent guides, and I have been working with them for 10 years.

Itinerary

Local flights will be booked to coordinate with your international flights.

The journey begins in the central area of Luangwa at Luangwa River Camp, a great spot for Thornicroft giraffe and wild dog as well as all the usual Luangwa species.

After two nights, we move across the river to the remote Nsefu.  Nsefu is in a very remote part of South Luangwa with excellent game viewing.  This camp has a classic safari feel and recalls the bygone days. It is the oldest camp in Zambia and enjoys a broad sweep of the Luangwa river.
