Join David Rogers for a 6-day trip to Kaingo camp in South Luangwa National Park from 22-27 October 2017 and get shooting from the finest and most established photographic hides in Luangwa. The trip is at the end of the dry season, which is peak time for predators and carmine bee-eaters. Extensions can be offered to Lower Zambezi National Park or Victoria Falls.

Itinerary

On this workshop, we will be spending time in one of the most remote areas of Luangwa at Kaingo. This intimate, owner-run camp has a reputation for exciting game-viewing, with leopard, lion, elephant and hippo. The camp offers game drives, walking safaris and three ingenious photographic hides. The hides are excellent for photography. One focuses on the nesting carmine bee-eaters, one on the famous hippos pools, and one on elephants. You can read more about Kaingo camp and the Kaingo hides in our reviews.

The workshop begins and ends at Mfuwe, just outside the main gate of South Luangwa National Park. We can help you to arrange flights to Mfuwe airport.
